"Exercise not only changes your body, but changes your mind, your attitude, and your mood." -Unknown

As soon as you realize you can, your whole world will change.

Throughout my entire life I have fallen into the trap of "I can't" or "I don't know how" and it has left me missing a whole lot. Last summer I went to Mexico with some friends and up until the morning of the excursion those same thoughts were winning. It was an excursion of horse back riding, hiking, repelling, zip lining, climbing and more, and because of my prior mental block and occasional knee pain I opted out. The morning of the excursion while watching my friends piling into the bus I decided it was time for change. I decided not to let those intrusive thoughts take over anymore and I hopped right along with them and I did it. I did each and every adventure, task and obstacle they had set and truly experienced the greatest joy and freedom I have ever felt.

Deciding You Can

Believing you can is half of the battle. So many people allow their minds to control their actions convincing themselves they can't do it, they shouldn't try it, or they won't make it. Today is the day to push all those thoughts away and replace them with "watch me." Watch me do it. Watch me try it. Watch me make it. Research shows that the people that can get over and past their mental blocks and exercise regularly end up having better mental health and emotional wellbeing. Let yourself succeed. Allow yourself to try. Prove to yourself you can.

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Regular physical activity can not only improve muscle strength but assists in boosting endurance. It delivers oxygen and nutrients to tissues and systems allowing more efficient work and health improvement. Whether it be hard core cross fit or simple, moderate exercise physical activity is the key to becoming a better version of you.

Today Starts Forever

Don't worry about what was or what could have been. Today is your day to change and implement a routine into your life. Physical activity is the key to your health from here on out. Exercise is said to impact the quality of life in tremendous ways slowing and preventing different diseases of the heart, blood pressure and cholesterol. Simply exercising 150 minutes each week which is just over twenty minutes a day increased life expectancy by about seven years over those who didn't regularly do moderate exercise. This is your time and your forever starts now.
